Art From Nature (Wendy Janzen)
Mennonite pastor Wendy Janzen makes temporary spiral art seasonally from found natural materials in Ontario. Wendy is the pastor of Burning Bush Forest Church and Wilmot Forest Church. She says, “Doing this practice has been a way to slow down, celebrate the season, and appreciate the small beauty of what is around me.”

Burning Bush Forest Church gathers monthly in natural areas in and around Kitchener-Waterloo. We find our grounding in the Christian tradition, and welcome people of all understandings of faith and spirituality, ages and backgrounds as we engage the Mystery together. Our aim is to deepen our connection with God our Creator, with nature, and with each other. We worship with nature, not simply in nature, recognizing that we are part of the fabric of creation. We use our senses to pay attention to the divine presence of God revealed in nature. We remember that the ground we are walking on is holy ground, and we celebrate that "the earth is the Lord's, and everything in it." (Psalm 24). - Wendy Janzen, Pastor
