Wes Nisker is a renown Buddhist teacher with an exceptionally-colorful life story. Born and raised in Nebraska to Jewish immigrant parents, in 1the 1940s, Wes went on to be the author of numerous books on “crazy wisdom”, Buddhism, Nature, and the cosmos. He first became famous as an artful, comedic, radio journalist in San Francisco in the 1960s, where he coined the phrase, “If you don't like the news ... go out and make some of your own," and shared hundreds of incisive insights, such as, "People are driving to work to earn the money to pay for the cars they're driving to work in. Back to you." In more recent decades, Wes’s extensive Dharma talks have explored science, wonder, identity, compassion for the Earth, loving ourselves and much, much more. (Don’t miss.) Wes is founder and co-editor of the international Buddhist journal, Inquiring Mind. (1984-2015). And, his comedy is unbeatable. We are grateful to Wes Nisker. His work is very much at the heart of the inspiration for this collection, “Restoring Connective Tissue.” Enjoy some Wes Nisker standup, wisdom, and retrospective in these timeless, comedic videos.
