Spiritual Views from the Amazon

Two of the leading Tropical Forest conservation groups have created videos which do a fair job of summing up Amazonian views on nature. 

The first is from a TED talk by Mark Plotkin, founder/ceo, Amazon Conservation Team. Mark interweaves his belief that we should protect tropical forests, species, and Indigenous people "for spiritual reasons" with personal stories and professional insights. The posting of this on TED.com has nearly 1.4 million views: 

The second comes from Martin von Hildebrand's Gaia Amazonas, summarizes the physical and spiritual relationship Indigenous Amazonians have with their natural world and contrasts it with our view, all in about three minutes, part of an excellent video:
