Y.E.C.A. | Young Evangelicals for Climate Action
"Young evangelicals in the United States who are coming together and taking action to overcome the climate crisis as part of our Christian discipleship and witness."
Young Evangelicals for Climate Action (YECA) was launched in 2012 out of Washington, D.C. Currently the group is active in roughly 12 states and at the Christian Bilingual University of Congo. YECA tours US college campuses and participates in federal and international activities calling for greater independence from dirty fossil fuels. YECA also cultivates undergraduate college leadership via its Climate Leadership Fellows program and has a call to action petition currently calling for signatures. An outstanding organization.
